Looking for my Forever Home

I am almost ready for my forever home!

At my foster home here on Cortes Island I am held and stroked lots and played with with toy balls.  I love my secluded spot in a closet! I think I would do best in an adults only home. I haven’t been named….saving that for my forever parents!  I am a gentle nature, soft and quiet, but I still react in fear to newness so need a compassionate and accepting parent!  I do talk! If you are looking for a gentle best friend, please call Samantha -6756, Kelly -8575, or Ian and Anne-Lise -8568

Looking for a Cat?

There are six 4-5 month old kittens currently looking for a home.

They are of course quite beautiful, though at this point rather shy of humans, which means they’ll need some of your time, patience and attention before becoming your best new friend.  If a housecat’s not what you’re looking for, any one of these cats (or all) would be great outdoor cats and ratters!

We live in an amazing place.

With your generous support, our volunteer organization has helped over fifteen island households with fostering and fixing both feral and family cats. Ain’t Cortes grand? Come celebrate our island, and each other, at Cortes Day 2015.  While you are there, stop by the Cortes Cat Rescue table, enjoy some yummy popcorn, and try your luck with the 50/50 draw! All fundraiser earnings go directly to the spaying and neutering of island cats.
